World Drowning Prevention Day - Part 2 (On-water)
World Drowning Prevention Day is a two-part presentation. Participants may choose to attend both or either sessions.
During Part 2, the presenters continue to explore steps to “Teach and Practice” the Drowning Prevention and Resuscitation Module as developed by the ACA Safety and Rescue Committee. The on-water session includes steps for active shore-based CPR including patient handling and positioning.
Presented by ACA committee Leaders Dr. Stephanie Lareau and Dr. Chris Davis, this program provides a free curriculum to be used all around the world by all interested parties and facilitators.
