PTC supports efforts to protect the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness by raising awareness and engaging with policymakers about the current proposal in the U.S. House of Representatives to lift a longstanding ban on hardrock mining near the watershed, a move that could increase the risk of water contamination from sulfide-ore mining runoff.
