Paddlesports Trade Coalition (PTC) – Membership Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all individuals and organizations purchasing or renewing a membership with the Paddlesports Trade Coalition (“PTC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By completing a membership purchase or renewal, you agree to these Terms.
1. Purpose of Membership
The Paddlesports Trade Coalition exists to strengthen, grow, and elevate the paddlesports industry through collaboration, advocacy, shared standards, and unified leadership. Membership supports industry-wide initiatives, the development and maintenance of best practices, and efforts to increase participation, safety, and long-term sustainability.
2. Membership Term
All memberships are annual commitments, valid for 12 months from the date of activation or renewal.
Memberships cannot be paused, prorated, or transferred.
3. Automatic Renewal
To ensure uninterrupted access to member benefits:
All memberships enroll in automatic annual renewal at the end of each term.
The payment method on file will be charged the then-current membership rate at the time of renewal.
You may update your payment method or opt out of auto-renewal at any time before your renewal date by contacting PTC Member Services.
Failure to update an expired or invalid payment method may result in a lapse of membership benefits.
4. Payment Terms
PTC accepts payment via credit card, debit card, ACH/bank transfer, and other payment methods made available at checkout.
Full payment is due at the time of membership purchase or renewal.
If a payment fails, the member will be notified and given an opportunity to update their payment information.
If payment is not successfully collected within 14 days of notice, PTC may suspend or cancel the membership.
5. No Refund Policy
All membership fees are non-refundable, including but not limited to:
Mid-term cancellations
Non-use of benefits
Changes to business circumstances
Failure to cancel auto-renewal before the renewal date
This policy allows PTC to plan responsibly and continue delivering consistent value to the paddlesports industry.
6. Member Benefits
Membership benefits vary by membership category and may include:
Access to industry resources and best practice documents
Member pricing for events, webinars, training, and certification programs
Voting rights (where applicable)
Participation in committees, working groups, and industry initiatives
Access to communication channels, newsletters, and industry data
PTC may modify, update, or discontinue specific benefits at any time to better support the evolving needs of the industry. Any such changes will not affect the validity of your membership.
7. Member Responsibilities
Members agree to:
Uphold PTC’s mission and contribute positively to the paddlesports community
Comply with applicable industry standards, ethics, and best practices
Provide accurate and current account information
Ensure timely payment of membership dues
PTC reserves the right to revoke or suspend membership if a member violates these responsibilities or engages in conduct harmful to the coalition or the broader paddlesports community.
8. Communications
By becoming a member, you consent to receive communications from the PTC related to membership, industry updates, events, and initiatives. You may manage your communication preferences at any time, but essential account and billing notices cannot be unsubscribed from.
9. Privacy
PTC handles member data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. Member information will not be sold or shared with third parties except as necessary to provide membership services or comply with legal obligations.
10. Changes to Terms
PTC may update these Terms to reflect organizational, legal, or operational changes. Members will be notified of material changes, and continued membership constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
